What I do now

Sharp Code is founder-led, and the founder's day job is running the portfolio: businesses in AI, private health and the DIY sector. The agents run the daily routines and handle the operations; I manage the whole lot in parallel. The agents write and deploy the code too. There is no hand-written code in the portfolio.

That portfolio is where the production experience on the rest of this site comes from.

Before Sharp Code

I was Chief Technology Officer of MoneyExpert.com (ME Expert Ltd) from 2008 to 2025: sixteen years leading architecture, development, infrastructure, data and security, through to the sale of the business to Credico. I introduced AI agents into that business before founding Sharp Code.

Three exits as a shareholder along the way: MortgageFox, my first business; MightyDeals.co.uk, a daily-deals business built from scratch and sold to Emerge Commerce; and MoneyExpert.com, sold to Credico.

Education: Master's in IT (Computer Science), Brno University of Technology.
